You know the album's great when it feels like more than the sum of its parts. This ain't just a bunch of people getting together and playing instruments, tape loops and field recordings. This is a journey into another world.
I haven't listened to enough albums to say this is one of the best of all time, but damn man, It's most likely my favorite debut album from a band. It was their first real record and they sound so set, so confident and comfortable in their vibe.
Favorite track: The Dead Flag Blues.
